Role Description
This full-time Delivery Driver role is on-site in Colchester. The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering meat and related products to restaurant and catering clients in a timely and safe manner. Daily tasks include:

- Verifying order accuracy
- Handling products with care
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic vehicle checks

The role also involves:
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Managing delivery paperwork
- Communicating with the logistics team regarding routes, schedules, and any delivery issues
The Delivery Driver will represent the company to customers, providing professional and courteous service at every delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and resolve delivery-related queries.
- Training and Sales experience to support product handling best practices and promote offerings when appropriate.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage standards, including basic food hygiene and safe handling of meat products.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience driving delivery vans or light commercial vehicles.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely and follow health and safety procedures.
- Good time-management skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
- Previous experience in food distribution, logistics, or a similar role is advantageous.
