Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Kingston Upon Hull. The Delivery Driver will operate electric vans to collect, transport, and deliver goods safely and on schedule across designated routes.

Responsibilities

- Loading and unloading items
- Checking delivery documentation
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Following all road safety and company procedures
- Providing courteous customer service at delivery points
- Reporting any issues or delays to the operations team
- Supporting basic warehouse tasks when required
The Delivery Driver will contribute to the company’s sustainability goals by operating vehicles efficiently and adhering to best practices for electric vehicle use.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and recipients.
- Experience or familiarity with Forklift Operation, or willingness to undertake training for safe material handling.
- Training and Sales experience beneficial for supporting team development and promoting services when appropriate.
- Background in Food & Beverage delivery or handling is an advantage for routes involving perishable goods.
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record and confidence driving vans in urban and rural environments.
- Good time management, reliability, and attention to detail in following delivery schedules and documentation.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving packages in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Basic understanding of or interest in sustainable transport and electric vehicle operations.
