Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Islington (London). The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and promptly delivering pizza and food orders to customers, ensuring a friendly and professional experience at every interaction.

The role also involves supporting in-store operations when needed, such as:

  • Helping with basic food and beverage tasks
  • Assisting the front-of-house team during busy periods
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the delivery area and vehicle

The position requires adherence to all company policies, food safety standards, and local traffic regulations while representing Tops Pizza in a courteous and reliable manner.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on friendly, professional, and efficient interactions.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality environments, with an understanding of basic food safety and handling.
  • Ability to support Sales activities, such as promoting offers, upselling where appropriate, and contributing to repeat business.
  • Comfort with Training, including learning delivery procedures quickly and supporting new team members when required.
  • Valid UK driving license or International driving permit and a clean driving record; experience driving in urban areas is highly beneficial.
  • Good time management and route planning abilities, with reliability in meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and cash reconciliation; eligibility to work in the UK.
