We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team.
This role is primarily focused on the safe and efficient delivery and collection of equipment across the UK, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service every time. Alongside your delivery responsibilities, you will carry out basic scheduled maintenance checks on our equipment and generators to help keep them operational and ready for use.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, values customer service and takes pride in delivering a professional service.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Delivery Driver, you will:
- Safely load, transport and unload equipment and materials
- Complete deliveries and collections across the UK in a timely and professional manner
- Operate a company van safely and in accordance with road traffic legislation
- Follow delivery schedules and customer instructions accurately
- Provide a positive customer experience at every delivery and collection point
- Complete delivery records, mileage logs and proof of delivery documentation
- Update delivery statuses using company systems and communicate any issues or delays promptly
- Resolve delivery-related issues professionally and efficiently
- Carry out basic scheduled maintenance and service checks on company equipment and generators
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures, ISO processes and operational standards

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Full valid UK driving licence suitable for driving a company van
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience working in customer-facing roles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to work away from home when required
- Full UK residency
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check

Desirable
- Previous delivery driving experience
- Experience driving long distances throughout the UK
- Basic maintenance or equipment servicing experience
- Understanding of vehicle checks and basic troubleshooting
- Experience working within logistics, transport or field-based operations
