Description
We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a key role in connecting our stores with our customers by ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. About The Role
- Contract: Fixed term contract - 3 months
- Hours: Full-time
- Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll represent our brand on the road and in person, delivering products safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. You’ll also support the Yard team with tasks such as goods inwards and stock rotation when not completing deliveries. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and collecting products safely and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Maintaining clear communication with the store team about delivery schedules
- Keeping vehicles clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
- Driving safely and following all traffic laws and company procedures
- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring accurate item counts
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery
- Assisting with yard duties such as goods inwards and stock rotation
About You
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Excellent practical driving skills and knowledge of local routes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of Health & Safety and GDPR compliance
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, professional attitude
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- You’ll be proactive, approachable, and solution-focused, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and supporting store success.
