Delivery Driver
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Job Overview
Based in Exeter EX5, our client is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations efficiently and safely. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of organisation, and a commitment to customer service and reliability. The Delivery Driver will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Employed role
- Van provided and use for commuting is covered
- Average between 20 – 40 stops per day
- Monday – Friday
- 9 hours a day
- 45 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate LWB commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers.
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver, ideally with LWB commercial vehicles.
- Previous experience in Delivery Driver roles demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling.

Essential:
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
- Applicant must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
