Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Enfield DPD & Chelmsford Parcelforce. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering goods to designated locations, following scheduled routes and delivery instructions. Daily tasks include performing vehicle safety checks, securing cargo, obtaining delivery confirmations, and handling basic paperwork or electronic logs. The role also involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, resolving simple delivery issues, and coordinating with the operations team to report delays or concerns. The Delivery Driver is expected to follow all traffic and company safety guidelines and maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, move, and carry packages safely, and to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Good time management skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for processing delivery notes, manifests, and electronic logs.
- Previous experience in delivery, with Parcelforce, DPD, DHL, Amazon is helpful but not essential.
