Customer Service Team Member – Ocado Logistics

It’s our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience. Whilst others might call you delivery drivers, here at Ocado Logistics, our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top-quality products on time and in an efficient manner.

You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station—sing along as loud as you like!

In return, we use automated technology to pre-plan your routes and pre-load your van so you can get going straight away!

About the Role

Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so our working patterns involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, including paid breaks
  • Flexible shifts: AM & PM, with shift start/end times from 05:30 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight)
  • Shift distribution: Any 4 days out of 7, working 10-hour shifts
  • Ready by: Your shift rota is provided 13 weeks in advance
  • Average earnings: With premises earned via evenings and weekends already in place, your average hourly rate is an impressive £14.54/hour. Enhanced overtime provides even higher potential earnings.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Team Member, you will:

  • Drive from warehouse to customer locations effortlessly and efficiently
  • Deliver top-quality products with a smile, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Interact with diverse customer groups representing all walks of life
  • Comply safely with warehouse and delivery operations
  • Handle orders with care, including special products (e.g., alcohol must be delivered legally to those aged 18+)

Requirements

Driving Licence Standards

  • Minimum of 12 months driving experience
  • UK or EU full driving licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years

Other Criteria

  • Must be over 18 years old (due to the handling of alcohol products)
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
