Delivery Driver / Loader
Spider is advertising on behalf of a long-established family business, proud to be a leading manufacturer and supplier of almost every type of glass in the industry. They are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Delivery Driver / Loader to join their friendly, family-run business based on Farthing Road in Ipswich, Suffolk. About the role:
As their Delivery Driver / Loader, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that their glass products reach customers safely, efficiently, and in perfect condition. This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with occasional Saturday mornings.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Load and unload vans carefully, handling all glass products safely
- Scan products onto vehicles to ensure accurate records
- Complete multiple daily deliveries (approximately 12 drops) across Suffolk, Essex, and London
- Maintain loading sheets and uphold company delivery standards
- Work closely with colleagues to improve processes and support efficient operations

About you:
As their Delivery Driver / Loader, you will be reliable and punctual, hold a full, clean driving licence and be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement). You will be a team player who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering great work. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential.
