Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Are you someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers and keeping things moving behind the scenes? We're looking for a friendly and reliable Delivery Driver / Stores Assistant to join our Manchester team.

About the Delivery Driver / Stores Assistant role:

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You'll start your morning in the branch, picking and packing customer orders, loading the company van and making sure everything is ready to go. From there, you'll be out on the road delivering engineering components and products to customer sites across Greater Manchester, Liverpool and the Wirral.

When you arrive on site, you'll work alongside our onsite colleagues to unload deliveries and help put stock away in the customer's engineering stores. As one of the faces of the business, you'll build positive relationships with customers and provide a professional, helpful service every step of the way.

Back at the branch, you'll muck in with the rest of the team, supporting the stores operation and helping wherever needed.

What we’re looking for in our Delivery Driver / Stores Assistant:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence speaking with customers and representing the business professionally
  • A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Previous warehouse, stores, delivery driving or engineering industry experience would be beneficial, but not essential
