Salary: A GBP 12.90 per hour + overtime
Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham
Driving licence essential
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
8.30-5.00pm Monday to Friday in Warehouse.
Flexible on delivery days to suit run. (All van runs are return to base each day.)
Primary Purpose
This hybrid role is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient warehouse operations and timely, professional delivery of goods. The role combines a significant focus on multi-drop delivery driving, customer interaction, and safe transportation of products with core warehouse duties (goods receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch).
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Driving (Core Focus of Role)
- Carry out regular multi-drop deliveries to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Plan and load delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective operations
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, acting as a company representative
- Obtain and manage proof of delivery documentation
- Ensure compliance with all road safety, legal, and company transport regulations
- Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Report vehicle issues, incidents, or delays promptly

Warehouse Operations
- Receive, unload, and process incoming stock in line with Standard Operating Procedures
- Handle temperature-controlled items in accordance with required standards
- Identify, report, and resolve discrepancies in deliveries
- Perform stock replenishment, stock rotation, and batch control
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Generate delivery documentation, including delivery notes and proof of delivery
- Process consignments for third-party carriers
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records
- Ensure warehouse organisation meets audit and compliance standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation
Qualifications And Skills
We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse and delivery experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role. It is not suitable for applicants seeking temporary work or a short-term position.

- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Proven experience in a warehouse and/or delivery driving role
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, scanning systems, or inventory software)
- Location: within 30mins of Office/Warehouse in Kings Norton
Desirable
- Reach forklift licence (training can be provided)
- Experience with SAP
- Experience handling temperature-controlled goods
- Multi-drop delivery experience
