We're looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy branch, where no two days are the same. This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer deliveries, warehouse operations and branch support to help us provide an exceptional experience for our customers.
Whether you're out making deliveries, supporting warehouse operations or helping customers at the trade counter, you'll play a vital role in keeping the branch running smoothly and ensuring we deliver on our customer promise.

As a Branch Assistant, you'll support every aspect of the branch operation, helping the team deliver excellent service, maintain high operational standards and achieve business goals.

Delivering outstanding customer service
- Deliver products safely, accurately and on time, ensuring every customer receives excellent service.
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally at every opportunity.
- Support Click & Collect customers and assist at the trade counter when needed.
- Help resolve customer queries and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Supporting warehouse operations
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with goods receiving, stock movements and dispatch activities.
- Maintain excellent stock accuracy through daily stock checks and inventory procedures.
- Support stock takes and ensure products are stored safely and correctly.
- Help maintain excellent shelf availability and warehouse organisation.
Looking after our fleet
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before every journey.
- Ensure company vehicles remain clean, roadworthy and compliant with company standards.
- Use delivery technology, including ePOD systems and handheld devices, accurately and effectively.
- Drive safely at all times, promoting our safety-first culture and protecting our customers, colleagues and communities.
Working safely and efficiently
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures within the branch, warehouse and during deliveries.
- Handle stock safely to minimise damage and maintain quality standards.
- Complete mandatory training and compliance activities.
- Support branch audits, operational controls and governance requirements.
Being part of the team
- Attend daily team briefings and contribute ideas to improve branch performance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the branch to achieve shared goals.
- Support continuous improvement by helping deliver operational and customer service targets.
- Develop your skills through ongoing learning and training, becoming a valued multi-skilled member of the team.

Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, great work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support role.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- An understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
- A flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.
Experience within the automotive, retail or logistics sector would be an advantage, as would knowledge of stock control, warehouse operations, vehicle compliance or ePOD technology—but these aren't essential, as full training will be provided.
