Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver - Generator Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of generators and related equipment to our valued customers. This energetic position combines driving expertise with technical knowledge, offering an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with heavy machinery while providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for transporting generators, performing basic installation support, and maintaining clear communication with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver generators and equipment to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload heavy generators using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring safety at all times
- Assist with basic setup, installation support, or troubleshooting at customer sites as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, product details, and any special instructions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records for all shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate schedules and ensure timely pickups and deliveries

Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role, preferably with generator or heavy equipment experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is highly preferred
- Strong driving skills with experience in commercial driving environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina for handling bulky equipment
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management and loading procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and equipment handling
