Delivery Driver / Installer

Vision Products is pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and professional full-time Delivery Driver/Installer to join our valued team. This role is vital in delivering and installing medical aids for the Community Equipment Service, helping people in the community receive the support they need to maintain their independence.

Essential Requirements

  • A positive, practical and hands-on approach to delivering high-quality service.
  • A full UK driving licence; a council vehicle will be provided to carry out your duties.
  • Deliver the correct equipment and information to customers, as defined on your mobile handheld device.
  • Load and unload goods and equipment safely and correctly, in line with work instructions.
  • Install equipment safely and provide clear instructions to customers on its use.
  • Operate barcoding and electronic recording processes competently using handheld or mobile devices, following training.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks accurately, along with any other required vehicle and journey documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.

You will also be required to participate in the out-of-hours breakdown and repair service on a rota basis, for which appropriate payments are made.
