Delivery Lead / Head of Project Management
We’re working with a leading digital agency looking for an experienced Delivery Lead or Head of Project Management to take ownership of project delivery across the business.
This is a senior, influential role responsible for improving how projects are run, developing the project management team, and creating greater consistency across multiple clients and workstreams.
Rather than managing one project or account, you’ll work across the agency, helping teams deliver effectively while continually improving the processes, tools and ways of working that support them.
The role
You’ll take the lead on the agency’s overall approach to delivery, looking at what works well today and where improvements can be made. You’ll be responsible for:
- Setting clear and consistent project delivery standards across the agency
- Developing and improving agile ways of working across different teams
- Coaching and supporting Project Managers, helping them grow in confidence and capability
- Improving project planning, milestones, reporting and overall visibility
- Ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are identified and managed effectively
- Spotting potential delivery challenges early and helping teams find practical solutions
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide clear oversight of project performance
- Reviewing and improving project management and resource planning tools
- Creating processes that give teams structure without adding unnecessary layers or administration
- Identifying opportunities to use AI and automation to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks
- Helping build a strong delivery culture where teams take ownership and consistently deliver great work

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
