Delivery Lead – Networks, Infrastructure & Service Desk

At Nando’s, we’re on a mission to Create Lasting Happiness for our people, our customers, and the communities we serve.

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, we’ve always believed our story starts with our people — our Nandocas. Everything we do is about helping them have fun, make money, and change lives.

Behind every great restaurant experience are teams who depend on reliable technology. Our networks, infrastructure, and service desk help keep our people connected, supported, and ready to deliver for our customers.

As our Delivery Lead, you’ll help these teams turn complex priorities into coordinated delivery across our restaurant network. Your work will connect technical change with the practical needs of a busy hospitality business.

Our Values

Our values shape how we work, how we lead, and how we look after each other:

  • Pride – We’re proud of what we do, how we do it, and who we do it with.
  • Passion – We put our heart and soul into it, every single day.
  • Courage – We’re brave enough to be ourselves and bold enough to try new things.
  • Integrity – We always do the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
  • Family – We look out for one another because we’re all part of something bigger.

You’ll bring these values to life by building trust, tackling challenges openly, and supporting the people behind our essential technology services.

The Role

You’ll lead delivery across our Networks, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams, helping them plan and coordinate improvements that support our restaurants and wider business.

Working with technical specialists, business stakeholders, and third-party partners, you’ll bring clarity to priorities, dependencies, and delivery risks. You’ll help teams balance planned improvements with operational demands, keeping work achievable and the impact on our restaurants in view.

This role needs someone who understands that different types of work need different delivery approaches. You’ll apply agile and lean principles thoughtfully, helping teams improve how work flows while supporting reliable services and well-coordinated change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You’ll Do

  • Build coordinated delivery plans. Bring together priorities across networks, infrastructure, and service desk, agreeing realistic goals, sequencing, and forecasts.
  • Balance change with operational needs. Help teams make informed decisions about capacity and priorities when planned work competes with urgent demands.
  • Manage dependencies and risks. Identify obstacles early, coordinate work across teams and suppliers, and keep delivery moving.
  • Support successful rollouts. Help teams plan changes around restaurant needs, with clear communication, readiness, and handovers into support.
  • Bring stakeholders together. Connect technical teams, business colleagues, and third parties around shared priorities and responsibilities.
  • Make delivery visible. Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly, giving stakeholders the information they need to make decisions.
  • Improve the flow of work. Use agile and lean practices, alongside measures such as throughput and lead time, to identify bottlenecks and improve predictability.
  • Coach and build confidence. Help teams take ownership, strengthen collaboration, and raise concerns early.
  • Contribute to our delivery community. Share lessons and practical approaches with other Delivery Leads across Nando’s.

What You’ll Bring

You can bring structure to complex work without making things harder for the people delivering it. You understand the pressures of a live operational environment and can help teams keep sight of longer-term improvements while responding to changing demands.

You build trust with technical specialists and business stakeholders alike, ask useful questions, and make sure decisions lead to action.

We’re looking for:

  • 10+ years’ experience delivering technology initiatives, including delivery across infrastructure, networks, or IT service environments.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Kanban, Lean, or Scrum, with the judgement to adapt your approach to operational and project-based work.
  • Experience balancing planned delivery with changing operational priorities and capacity constraints.
  • Confidence managing dependencies, delivery risks, and change across live environments.
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to coach teams and stakeholders in effective delivery practices.
  • Confident facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain delivery implications to non-technical colleagues.
  • A calm, organised, and dependable approach to time-sensitive challenges.
