About Gatehouse Bank

Founded in 2007, Gatehouse Bank is a UK challenger bank built on Shariah principles. With offices in London, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, and Wilmslow, we provide ethical savings products and residential property finance, as well as expertise in UK real estate investment.

We’re proud to combine strong values with a modern, customer-first approach.

The Role

We’ve brought our Change & Delivery capability together into one function and are building cross-functional delivery teams with clearer ownership, stronger prioritisation, and greater accountability from mobilisation through to implementation.

We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to play a key role in that model.

This is a hands-on delivery role. You’ll take ownership of complex change initiatives, bring together people from across the Bank and our technology partners, and keep delivery moving when there are competing priorities, difficult decisions, and dependencies to work through.

You won’t just be managing a plan. You’ll be accountable for getting change delivered well. There’s a genuine opportunity to influence how change is delivered at Gatehouse Bank.

We’re bringing previously separate capabilities together, establishing clearer ways of working, and creating a more joined-up approach to prioritisation, delivery, and ownership. You’ll be joining to deliver important change, but you’ll also help shape the delivery culture around you.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic, regulatory, operational, and technology-enabled change within one of our delivery pods.

Working with Business Analysts, Change Managers, Test Analysts, IT, business teams, and third-party suppliers, you’ll create the structure and momentum needed to take change from mobilisation through to implementation and handover.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include:

  • Taking accountability for the end-to-end delivery of complex change initiatives
  • Mobilising new initiatives and establishing the right delivery approach, plans, milestones, governance, and resources
  • Leading cross-functional teams across the Bank
  • Building and maintaining integrated delivery plans across multiple workstreams and dependencies
  • Making sure scope, outcomes, and delivery expectations are clear from the outset
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, rather than waiting for them to become delivery problems
  • Challenging timescales, scope, priorities, and resource assumptions where they do not stack up
  • Owning project cost estimates, forecasts, and delivery against agreed investment
  • Giving senior stakeholders clear visibility of progress, pressures, decisions, and trade-offs
  • Ensuring appropriate testing, operational readiness, and business adoption are built into delivery from the beginning
  • Working with the Change Portfolio Lead and other Delivery Leads to manage capacity and priorities across the wider portfolio
  • Helping us continually improve how change is delivered across the Bank

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Experience leading strategic, operational, and technology-enabled change
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across business and technology
  • Confidence managing multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and complex dependencies

  • Experience working across Agile and more traditional delivery approaches
  • A strong understanding of delivery governance, risk management, testing, and operational readiness
