The Role
We are seeking an experienced Delivery lead to work on the design/future state concentration risk capability across a large, complex and highly regulated organisation.
The role will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to develop a strategic concentration risk assessment methodology that provides greater visibility of supplier dependencies, common points of failure and supply-chain exposures across the enterprise. This includes evaluating emerging industry capabilities, supporting pilot activities, and defining the business, process and technology requirements required to embed the methodology into a long-term strategic solution.
Experience & Skills Required
- Strong experience in third-party risk management, concentration risk, outsourcing, operational resilience or supplier risk within a regulated environment, ideally financial services.
- Proven ability to design and implement risk assessment methodologies, frameworks and operating models that support strategic risk management objectives.
- Deep understanding of supplier dependencies, concentration risk, common points of failure, material subcontractors and wider supply chain ecosystems.
- Experience developing risk models, assessment criteria, risk indicators and decision-support tools to support effective risk-based decision making.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging regulatory expectations relating to third-party risk, outsourcing and operational resilience.
- Experience assessing supplier dependencies across products, services, technologies, geographies and critical business processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data and risk information into actionable insights.
- Experience evaluating or implementing dependency discovery, supply chain intelligence, risk analytics or related technology solutions.
- Proven ability to design and execute pilots, proof-of-concepts and validation activities, translating outcomes into scalable target-state solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across Procurement, Risk, Technology, Operational Resilience and business teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
