Delivery Lead

£600 per day

Location: London or Sheffield

We are seeking a Delivery Lead to support leading a significant transformation initiative focused on digitalizing deposit journeys, introducing API-enabled capabilities, and modernizing operational processes within Payments & Liquidity / Deposits and Account Solutions area. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in enhancing the delivery capability of the programme.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple digital deposits and account solution workstreams.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Controls, and Treasury for successful delivery.
  • Manage the delivery of API-enabled deposit capabilities from pilot to implementation.
  • Drive the digitalization of existing customer journeys across HSBCnet and local channels.
  • Coordinate the transition from manual processes to automated solutions.
  • Manage dependencies with internal technology and business teams.
  • Work with Risk and Controls teams to ensure appropriately designed automated processes.
  • Manage delivery plans, milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Support the rollout of capabilities across additional markets as per the roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into deliverable outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Delivery Lead or Delivery Manager in a large banking or financial services environment.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex technology or digital transformation programmes.
  • Experience in managing multiple business and technology teams and dependencies.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Expertise in delivering digital customer journeys or channel transformation.
  • Experience with APIs and technology-enabled process automation.
  • Strong understanding of delivery governance and planning.
  • Experience in complex, globally distributed organisations.
  • Experience in Payments, Liquidity, Deposits, Cash Management, or Transaction Banking.
  • Knowledge of deposit products and account solutions.
