Delivery Lead | Finance Technology / Finance Systems | 9-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Remote, 9 months initial potential to extend to 12 (occasional travel)
We’re looking for a Delivery Lead to join a Finance Technology function and take ownership of delivery across a number of key in-flight projects.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, creating momentum and making sure things actually move. Likely a Delivery Lead with Finance ERP, or Finance Systems knowledge. Or a Project Manager that has strong experience leading Sprints and Retros.
You’ll be working across three internal teams, bringing structure and accountability to delivery, running the Sprint cadence and ensuring everyone is clear on what needs to happen next.
There’s a lot happening, including:
- Non-UK entity going live
- International entity progressing through delivery
- E-Expenses going live
- Year-end change activity
- Managing and prioritising Jira tickets
- Keeping projects moving against plan
- Monthly reporting into Finance

What will you be doing?
You’ll oversee the delivery cadence across:
- Engineering
- Reporting
- Application
You don’t need specific-ERP expertise. What matters is that you know how to get teams organised, keep Sprints moving and create accountability around delivery. You’ll be the person looking at the Jira board and asking:
- Are the tickets moving?
- Have they been properly refined?
- What’s blocking progress?
- Are we actually going to hit the plan?
- What needs to happen next?
You’ll run Sprint ceremonies and retros, maintain the delivery plan, assess progress against scope and make sure the various teams remain aligned.

There is also a strong Waterfall / project delivery element, so you’ll need to be comfortable taking accountability for the wider project plan while working in an Agile delivery environment.
What are we looking for?
We’re open to backgrounds such as Delivery Lead, Project Manager, Programme Manager or Agile Delivery Manager.
- Has strong delivery and project management experience
- Is comfortable running multiple Sprint teams
- Can bring structure to complex, sometimes fragmented work
- Understands Jira and Agile delivery
- Can challenge teams constructively and keep momentum
- Is comfortable owning a delivery plan and reporting progress
- Can look beyond individual tickets and understand the bigger picture
- Is naturally organised, pragmatic and accountable
