Job Description
Giacom are the only provider of Comms, Cloud, Hardware and Billing all through one platform.

The Delivery Lead is responsible for coordinating and governing delivery across both Agile change initiatives and live service activities. The role ensures that planned work, operational tasks, and support activities are prioritised, managed, and delivered efficiently in line with business goals and service expectations.
Working closely with engineering teams, Product, and stakeholders, the Delivery Lead provides clear structure, visibility, and control across delivery. They balance feature development with operational demands such as incidents, data processing, and production support, ensuring both delivery progress and service stability.
The role acts as the central point of accountability for delivery outcomes, providing transparency on progress, risks, and capacity while driving continuous improvement across both delivery and operational practices.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and manage delivery across both change and operational work, ensuring timelines, priorities, and scope are clear and aligned with Product, Programme, and stakeholder goals
- Own prioritisation and flow of work, balancing planned delivery with incidents, data processing, production issues, and customer fixes using Agile and flow-based practices (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
- Ensure delivery commitments are met, with work completed to definition of done, and maintain accurate tracking in Jira across all work types
- Coordinate teams and delivery activities, working closely with developers, QA, and 3rd line/support engineers to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and maintain progress
- Identify and remove impediments, managing risks, issues, and dependencies to protect both delivery outcomes and service stability
- Track, forecast, and report delivery performance, providing clear visibility of progress, capacity, risks, and service health using agreed metrics
- Govern operational delivery, ensuring SLAs are met, proactively managing breaches, and maintaining control over Run activities
- Facilitate team alignment and improvement, including Scrum ceremonies where appropriate, and drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and reviews
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication, acting as the central coordination point across Engineering, Product, Support, and business stakeholders, including customer engagement where required

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Strong delivery management across Agile and operational environments
- Proven ability to manage both planned and reactive workloads
- Experience with Agile and flow-based frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban)
- Strong prioritisation, risk, and dependency management
- Experience using delivery metrics to track performance and improvement
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of incident management and live service environments
- Experience driving Software Agile Teams
- Technical Project Management experience
- Work experience as a Software Developer (Preferred) Or QA Engineer;
- BSc in Software Engineering or equivalent work experience as a SW Developer or QA engineer
