This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced VP-level Third-Party Risk specialist to support the review, redesign and implementation of key third-party risk management processes across a large, complex and highly regulated financial services organisation.
The role will focus on assessing current-state processes and designing enhanced future-state capabilities across key risk domains including supplier exit planning, single/sole source risk, exit testing, material subcontractor (nth-party) oversight and third-party assurance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning processes to industry best practice, emerging regulatory expectations and strategic business objectives, before supporting pilot execution, implementation planning and enterprise-wide rollout.

Experience & Skills Required
- Strong thought leadership and practical experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), supplier governance, outsourcing or operational risk within a regulated environment, ideally financial services.
- Proven ability to review, design and enhance TPRM processes, frameworks and operating models to improve risk management effectiveness, governance and user experience.
- Experience simplifying and optimising supplier lifecycle processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of third-party, fourth-party and nth-party risk, including supplier dependencies, concentration risk and single points of failure.
- Experience developing and embedding governance frameworks, escalation protocols, decision-making models and accountability structures that support effective risk ownership and oversight.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry expectations relating to outsourcing, operational resilience and third-party risk management.
- Experience identifying process, control and data gaps and translating findings into practical remediation plans and sustainable operating model improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple Risk domains and Business Units to drive change and embed new ways of working.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and risk requirements into practical business outcomes.

Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering TPRM transformation or large-scale control enhancement programmes.
- Experience supporting initiatives relating to concentration risk, vendor lock in risk, supplier dependencies or nth-party risk management.
- Experience reviewing and enhancing supplier controls, governance processes and escalation mechanisms.
- Knowledge of TPRM tooling, workflow automation and data-driven risk management solutions.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation or advanced analytics to simplify processes, improve risk insight and reduce manual effort.
