Location: UK Remote
Clearance: BPSS Required
Inside: IR35 rate: £750.00 - £780.00 pd
Role Overview
Capgemini is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead - Workday to lead the successful delivery of end-to-end Workday HCM and Financial Management transformation programmes for global clients.
This role combines deep Workday expertise with strategic delivery leadership. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, business leads, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimise Workday solutions that drive large-scale HR and finance transformation initiatives.
As the Delivery Lead, you will take ownership of delivery quality, solution governance, stakeholder engagement, and overall programme success while ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned to client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Workday platform implementations across HCM and Financial Management programmes.
- Drive solution architecture and technical design activities, ensuring alignment with business and transformation objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and effective Workday solutions.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for delivery quality, programme governance, and stakeholder management.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Workday consultants, functional specialists, and project teams.
- Ensure successful planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues, driving appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
- Champion best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement across Workday delivery engagements.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience leading Workday implementation and transformation programmes.
- Strong expertise in Workday HCM and/or Workday Financial Management.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise HR and finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, integration, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and technical functions.
- Demonstrable success leading delivery teams in complex consulting environments.
- Strong programme, project, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within large-scale public sector or regulated environments.
- Workday certifications across HCM, Financials, or related modules.
- Experience leading global or multi-country Workday deployments.
- Knowledge of agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
