Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the planning and execution of software and technology initiatives across the full Software Development Lifecycle.

You will work with Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, DevOps, Cloud Operations and Service Management teams to deliver agreed outcomes, manage risks and dependencies, support governance and coordinate production releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate product roadmaps and strategic priorities into delivery plans, milestones, sprint objectives and PI objectives.
  • Support quarterly planning, PI Planning, backlog refinement and estimation activities.
  • Track delivery progress, commitments, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Manage RAID logs and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
  • Maintain Jira and Confluence governance, including epics, features, stories, estimates, fix versions, dates, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop delivery dashboards, reports and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Prepare delivery updates, RAID summaries and governance materials.
  • Coordinate SIT, UAT and production release readiness activities.
  • Support change management, Permit to Release, cutover planning and release approvals.
  • Ensure operational readiness, support handover, runbooks and knowledge articles are completed.
  • Coordinate post-release stabilisation, warranty tracking and lessons learned.
  • Communicate delivery confidence, risks, issues, dependencies and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Promote transparency, accountability and continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in technology or software delivery management.
  • Experience delivering complex or multi-year technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery and the end-to-end SDLC.
  • Experience with delivery planning, RAID management, dependency tracking and stakeholder reporting.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, dashboards and delivery metrics.
  • Experience coordinating releases into test and production environments.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD and modern development practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience working with globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.

Desirable Experience:

  • SAFe or PI Planning experience.
  • Financial services, capital markets, market data or index platform experience.
  • Experience with DevOps, Cloud Operations, Service Management or production support.
  • Experience with change governance and operational readiness.
  • Certifications such as SAFe, Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or AgilePM.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted delivery management, Jira automation or automated reporting.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Technology, Business, Project Management or a related field.
