WorldSkills UK is looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Workforce Development team within the Standards directorate.
Our workforce development provision includes a growing portfolio of programmes designed to build educator capability and improve outcomes across the technical education sector. The role will support programmes including our Centre of Excellence and Technical Excellence College programmes, working with colleges, training providers and other stakeholders to strengthen teaching, learning and assessment practice.
As Delivery Manager, you will manage the effective implementation and delivery of assigned workforce development programmes, ensuring activity is well planned, coordinated and monitored and achieves agreed objectives, participation targets and performance measures.
Working closely with the Senior Delivery Manager, curriculum specialists, trainers and delivery partners, you will combine programme management, stakeholder engagement, performance monitoring and continuous improvement to support high-quality delivery and positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of assigned workforce development programmes against agreed plans, milestones, objectives and performance measures.
- Coordinating programme activity to support effective participant engagement, retention and successful completion.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with colleges, training providers and other programme stakeholders.
- Maintaining programme plans, schedules, documentation and monitoring arrangements.
- Identifying and managing programme risks, issues and dependencies.
- Monitoring programme budgets, expenditure and relevant contractual or funding requirements.
- Using performance data, stakeholder feedback and evaluation findings to identify and implement improvements.
- Producing accurate programme reports and performance updates.
- Providing line management, support and development to the Workforce Development Coordinator.

About you
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience managing projects or programmes.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and building productive working relationships.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience monitoring performance and using data and feedback to inform decisions and improvement.
- Experience coordinating learning, training, events or professional development activity.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach.

Salary: £35,000
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract, full time (35 hours per week)
Location: London, with flexible hybrid working. The postholder is expected to attend the office one to two days per week.
