Delivery Manager – Digital Fulfilment
📍 Reading / Hybrid – 2 days per week
💰 Up to £90,000 + Bonus & Benefits
🏢 Permanent
I’m partnered with a leading global retailer that is making a significant investment into its Digital Fulfilment and Home Delivery capability, and I’m looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to play a key role in delivering the technology behind this transformation.
This is a complex technology environment spanning fulfilment, warehousing, supply chain and digital, with multiple internal teams, technology partners and third-party suppliers involved.
This isn’t a role for someone who simply manages Jira boards and facilitates Agile ceremonies. We’re looking for somebody who can take genuine ownership of delivery, navigate complexity and drive major technology initiatives through to go-live.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Digital Fulfilment technology, working across Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations and Supply Chain alongside external technology and logistics partners.
- You’ll take product priorities and turn them into clear delivery plans, ensuring dependencies, risks, testing, operational readiness and routes to live are understood and effectively managed.
- You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle, from discovery and planning through build, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, cutover and service transition.
What We’re Looking For:
We’d love to speak with Delivery Managers, Technology Project Managers or Programme Managers who have experience across:
- Delivering complex technology programmes/projects involving multiple systems, teams and dependencies
- Working within large, matrixed organisations
- Managing technology vendors, systems integrators, offshore teams or other third-party suppliers
- Technology implementation, systems integration and engineering dependencies
- Testing, release planning, cutover and operational readiness
- Strong risk, dependency, governance and stakeholder management
- Agile, product-led or hybrid delivery environments

Experience within Retail, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing or Fulfilment technology would be particularly valuable, as would exposure to WMS, warehouse automation, robotics or operational technology.
