Delivery Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of an established organisation for an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee day-to-day service delivery across multiple teams and projects.

This is a senior operational role, working closely with Team Leaders, Project Managers and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Team Leaders across multiple delivery teams.
  • Oversee workload, utilisation, resource allocation and delivery performance.
  • Ensure consistent quality, processes and delivery standards.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for operational and customer issues.
  • Identify and resolve blockers, risks and resource challenges.
  • Manage escalations, investigate root causes and implement preventative solutions.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership on project health, risks and capacity.
  • Support process improvements and initiatives to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide commercial oversight of projects, including scope changes and forecasting.
  • Support team development, performance management and continuous improvement.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in project or service delivery at Team Lead or Manager level.
  • Experience delivering complex technology, consultancy or business transformation projects.
  • Strong experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Confident handling customer escalations and challenging situations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including PMs, developers, architects and consultants.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to identify risks and quality issues before they escalate.
  • Experience with Agile, ITIL, PRINCE2 or similar frameworks is advantageous.
  • A background in consultancy, project management or a fast-paced delivery environment.
