Delivery Manager – Operations & Transformation Consulting
Location: Theale, with regular travel to client sites
Working Pattern: 3 days a week on-site
Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
We are partnering with an established UK management consultancy that specialises in delivering hands-on operational transformation and measurable performance improvement for major organisations across a range of industries.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead complex transformation engagements and work directly with clients to create sustainable improvements across their operations.
This is a highly delivery-focused consulting role. Rather than sitting at a strategic or advisory level, you will work closely with client teams to implement change, improve ways of working and coach managers to deliver measurable improvements in organisational performance. You will engage with stakeholders ranging from senior executives through to front-line management, taking ownership of project delivery and ensuring transformation initiatives translate into tangible results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
