About the Role
As a Delivery Manager within Material Services at Leonardo Helicopters, you will lead and influence teams across the Material Services organisation to deliver a responsive, customer-focused service that supports aircraft availability and strengthens our position as a trusted partner.
Your Impact
You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive an excellent service, while driving continuous improvement, operational performance and commercial value across our contracts.
Your leadership and delivery will help to:
- Ensure existing customers recognise Leonardo as an excellent and trusted partner, supporting opportunities to broaden the range of services we provide.
- Deliver sustainable turnover and growth through excellent operational performance, innovation and effective processes.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across Leonardo and our customer organisations to deliver contracted commitments.

What you will do as a Delivery Manager
- Lead and be accountable for the delivery of Material Services contract commitments, ensuring all contracted outputs are delivered effectively and support aircraft availability.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, engaging at all levels to ensure timely resolution of issues and delivery of customer requirements.
- Lead engagement with UK and overseas-based Leonardo employees and customers, including international travel where required to support the effective delivery of customer contracts.
- Develop and maintain effective customer relationships, establishing close working relationships with senior management representatives across the internal and external customer domain.
- Hold stakeholders to account for the activities and support required to deliver the contracted service, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Develop an effective relationship with the wider Material Services organisation, ensuring current and future supply requirements are understood and delivered.
- Develop an effective relationship with the relevant Integrated Project Team (IPT) to ensure customer and operational requirements are aligned and delivered.
- Monitor and drive performance against contracted service levels, identifying opportunities to improve availability, inventory, revenue, delivery performance and process effectiveness.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, challenging existing ways of working and identifying opportunities to improve customer service, operational efficiency and business performance.
- Prepare and deliver reports, briefs and presentations for senior internal and external stakeholders and delegations.
- Ensure effective communication of customer requirements, priorities and risks throughout the Material Services organisation.
- Ensure all activities are conducted within the required Health & Safety standards, complying with Leonardo and customer processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Leonardo, customer and applicable legislative and mandated requirements.

What you'll bring
We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong understanding of material supply, customer support and operational delivery.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in a supply, logistics, material management or military environment.
- A sound understanding of customer organisation structures, processes and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the material supply chain from supplier through to customer.
- Detailed knowledge of Leonardo Helicopters' material supply processes, systems and operating environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to influence, challenge and hold stakeholders to account across both the customer and company domains.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead and facilitate multi-disciplinary discussions.
- A good understanding of aircraft support operations, including the role of spares, material availability and product support.
- The ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced and changing Service Delivery environment.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to identify issues, manage competing priorities and drive effective solutions.
- The confidence and credibility to represent Material Services with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of:
- Rotary wing support operations, organisation and processes.
- Logistics and material supply techniques.
- Customer planning and operational activities relating to material supply and inventory management.
- Aircraft availability and the relationship between material supply, inventory and customer operational requirements.
- Contracted service delivery and performance management.
