Role Description
The Delivery Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chelmsford. In this role, the Delivery Manager oversees end-to-end delivery of change, transformation, and technology programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. The individual coordinates cross-functional teams, manages stakeholders, and maintains clear communication on project scope, risks, and progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and tracking program milestones, resolving delivery issues, driving continuous improvement in delivery processes, and aligning project outcomes with client objectives. The Delivery Manager collaborates closely with consulting and technical teams to provide governance, support decision-making, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Strong program and project management skills, including experience overseeing complex change and transformation initiatives.
- Well-developed analytical skills to interpret data, assess risks, and support informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders, leading meetings, and producing clear documentation.
- Proven team management skills, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration.
- Consulting skills with experience working in client-facing environments, shaping solutions, and managing expectations.
- Experience in technology or business systems delivery and familiarity with governance and assurance frameworks.
- Ability to work on-site in Chelmsford and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is beneficial.
