About Mayfair IT Consultancy

Mayfair IT Consultancy is an IT services and technology consultancy providing technology solutions and professional services to clients. We are looking for a proactive and organised Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of client projects and services.

Role Overview

The Delivery Manager will coordinate and oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects and client services, ensuring work is completed on time, within agreed scope and to a high standard. The role will act as a key link between clients, technical teams, project stakeholders and the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, services and client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans, timelines, milestones and priorities.
  • Monitor progress against agreed objectives, deadlines, SLAs and KPIs.
  • Identify and manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies and blockers, escalating significant matters to the Managing Director.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Provide regular updates on project and service progress, risks, actions and deliverables.
  • Coordinate technical, development, support and project teams and monitor workload and priorities.
  • Track incidents, service issues and outstanding actions through to resolution.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, dashboards and risk/issue registers.
  • Coordinate changes affecting delivery timelines and assess their impact.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of agreed improvements.
  • Support project financial and commercial tracking where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in IT delivery, project management, service delivery, IT operations or a similar technology-focused role.
  • Proven experience coordinating projects, technical teams, clients and multiple workstreams.
  • Experience managing timelines, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within an IT consultancy, managed services, SaaS or technology environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate technical and non-technical teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of IT services and technology environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of ITIL / IT Service Management principles.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ServiceNow or similar.
  • Experience working with UK-based clients.
  • PRINCE2, AgilePM, ITIL or other relevant project/service management certification.

Working Arrangement

This is a UK-based, full-time permanent remote position. The successful candidate must be currently based in the United Kingdom and have the legal right to work in the UK. Occasional travel may be required, including attendance at client meetings, on-site visits or other business meetings within the UK when required by client or business needs.
