Delivery Manager

Location: Warwick - Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Start Day: ASAP
Contract Rate: £890 per day inside IR35
Duration: 6 months initially

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support a Data Enablement function, driving the successful delivery of strategic Data Platform initiatives. You will play a key role in demonstrating business value from Data Platform investments and translating Data & AI priorities into actionable delivery plans through SAFe Agile Planning Increments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of Data Enablement initiatives across business and technology teams.
  • Support business case development linked to Data Platform investments.
  • Translate Data & AI priorities into Planning Increments (PIs) and delivery roadmaps.
  • Drive planning, prioritisation, and execution using Jira and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Manage stakeholders across business, data, architecture, and engineering teams.
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery progress.
  • Track benefits realisation and business outcomes.
  • Support governance, reporting, and delivery alignment across workstreams.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Delivery Manager, Programme Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead experience within Data, Analytics, or AI environments.
  • Strong understanding of Data Platforms, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data & AI transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working within SAFe Agile frameworks and PI cycles.
  • Hands-on Jira experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in planning, risk management, dependency management, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting business cases, benefits tracking, and value realisation.

Desirable

  • SAFe certification.
  • Agile certifications such as Scrum Master, AgilePM, or Prince2 Agile.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-wide Data & AI transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud-based data platforms and data governance practices.
