The Delivery Manager is responsible for driving governance, planning, reporting and operational oversight across new initiatives under "Run and Maintain" portfolio of technology platforms and services e.g. SAP multi-country rollout, Data Privacy roll out in Indian subcontinent etc. The role ensures delivery predictability, stakeholder transparency, portfolio control and continuous improvement across Run and Maintain initiatives.

This role is suited to an experienced delivery professional who is comfortable operating in structured, enterprise delivery environments, managing multiple stakeholders and suppliers, and providing clear, reliable insight throughout the project lifecycle.

Role purpose

To deliver projects safely and predictably, ensuring agreed outcomes are achieved by applying standard delivery frameworks, managing risks and dependencies proactively, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and leadership - across both CTO technology initiatives and CISO security, privacy and risk initiatives, including the safe adoption of Agentic AI.

Key accountabilities

  • Consistent application of D&T delivery frameworks and governance
  • Effective management of scope, plans, risks, issues and dependencies
  • Clear, timely reporting of project status, risks and decisions
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier management
  • Maintaining focus on agreed business outcomes

Key responsibilities

  1. Project Delivery & Execution
    • Own the delivery of assigned projects from initiation through to closure.
    • Ensure projects deliver agreed scope, timelines, quality standards and outcomes.
    • Apply standard D&T delivery approaches (Waterfall or hybrid as appropriate).
  2. Planning & Control
    • Develop and maintain robust project plans, including milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
    • Track progress against plan and take corrective action where deviations occur.
    • Manage change in a controlled and transparent way.
  3. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
    • Proactively identify, manage and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies.
    • Ensure mitigation actions are clearly defined, owned and tracked to closure.
    • Maintain an accurate view of project health and delivery confidence at all times.
  4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders across business, D&T and suppliers.
    • Provide clear, honest and timely communication on progress, risks, decisions and impacts.
    • Manage expectations and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Financial & Resource Management (Project Level)
    • Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial controls within delegated authority.
    • Work with Finance partners to provide accurate financial reporting and early visibility of variances.
    • Ensure project resources and capacity are planned and used effectively.
  6. Supplier & Third-Party Management
    • Manage delivery contributions from third-party suppliers within the project scope.
    • Ensure suppliers deliver to agreed timelines, quality and contractual expectations.
    • Escalate supplier performance or dependency issues through appropriate governance forums.
  7. Governance & Reporting
    • Operate within established delivery governance, ensuring all required artefacts and controls are maintained.
    • Provide accurate, decision-oriented reporting into portfolio, performance and assurance forums.
    • Support reviews, stage gates and audits as required.
  8. Outcomes, Adoption & Handover
    • Maintain focus on agreed business outcomes throughout delivery.
    • Support transition, handover and closure activities to enable successful adoption and ongoing ownership.
    • Contribute to benefits realisation tracking where applicable.
  9. Continuous Improvement & Professional Standards
    • Apply lessons learned and best practice to improve delivery effectiveness.
    • Contribute positively to D&T delivery standards, ways of working and capability maturity.
    • Demonstrate accountability, professionalism and strong delivery discipline.
  10. Security, Risk & AI Governance Delivery
    • Provide transparent visibility of the end-to-end security portfolio alongside technology delivery.
    • Embed security engagement early in project and product lifecycles, ensuring security controls enable business innovation rather than slow delivery.
    • Support the safe adoption of AI and Agentic AI capabilities through structured governance and risk management.
    • Translate complex cyber and technology risks into business language suitable for executive leadership and business sponsors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
