I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For
This opportunity might be for you if you’re someone who’s:
- Calm in a crisis – when a delivery hits a snag, you're the one quietly sorting it out, not sounding the alarm.
- Across it all, with the full picture in view – budgets, timelines, logistics, people – you keep them all in view and know exactly which one needs you first.
- Steady at the centre – with three direct reports and colleagues across the business coming to you for answers, you lead with a calm consistency that people trust.
- Always chasing "better" – you actively question where the workflow could be faster or more effective, and you follow it through
- Commercially savvy – you know great delivery and healthy margins go hand in hand, and you build both in from day one.
- A natural connector – you move easily between Commercial, Finance, Creative and on-site teams, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This role isn’t just about keeping the wheels turning, it's about making sure the whole machine runs better than it did yesterday. You'll be trusted with real operational judgement across centre and mobile deliveries, with the confidence to make decisions when things are moving fast.
Essential

- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate, professional client reports and correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
