Delivery Manager

Permanent | £90,000
Location: Gloucester | Full-Time On-Site
Security Clearance: Valid eDV Required

We’re partnering with a leading technology organisation to appoint an experienced Delivery Manager for a permanent position based on-site in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished delivery professional to lead complex infrastructure and platform projects within a highly technical, secure environment. You’ll take responsibility for projects and defined workstreams throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring they are completed to agreed schedule, cost, scope and quality requirements.

The Opportunity

As Delivery Manager, you’ll establish, plan, manage and control assigned projects in line with customer expectations, contractual obligations and established delivery processes.

You’ll lead cross-functional project teams, coordinate internal and external stakeholders and maintain clear oversight of milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies and performance. This role requires confident leadership, sound judgement and the ability to maintain delivery momentum while managing competing priorities.

You’ll also contribute to the continued development of project delivery capability, sharing lessons learned, improving ways of working and supporting less experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in successful project delivery by:

  • Planning, managing and delivering projects or workstreams against agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality and governance requirements.
  • Leading infrastructure and platform deliveries within a highly technical environment.
  • Coordinating project teams and resources, ensuring responsibilities, priorities and dependencies are clearly understood.
  • Monitoring delivery performance and taking appropriate corrective action where required.
  • Identifying and managing risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change.
  • Maintaining accurate project plans, forecasts, dashboards, governance packs and supporting documentation.
  • Building trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Leading project meetings, reviews and governance forums, ensuring decisions, actions and escalations are clearly recorded and progressed.
  • Supporting project mobilisation and maintaining delivery momentum through effective planning and oversight.
  • Ensuring project activities and deliverables comply with organisational, contractual and quality standards.
  • Providing day-to-day direction, guidance and support to project teams and junior colleagues.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement through delivery insight, lessons learned and project management expertise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
