Job Opportunity: Delivery Manager
📍 Location: Remote / Flexible
💼 Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
💰 Daily Rate: £700 - £850
🕒 Contract Length: 6 Months
🕰️ Working Pattern: Full Time
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to lead the successful end-to-end delivery of technology and digital initiatives within the Digital and Information Technology function. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment! 🌟
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and governance of technology delivery initiatives.
- Ensure that projects meet scope, time, cost, quality, security, and operational readiness expectations.
Portfolio Coordination:
- Coordinate delivery activities across multiple projects and maintain transparent visibility.
- Provide evidence-based updates on progress, risks, and financial status.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build trusted relationships with various stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable delivery plans.
- Facilitate effective decision-making and ensure all voices are heard. 🤝
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage delivery budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and investment cases.
- Monitor expenditure and provide accurate financial reporting.

Supplier and Partner Management:
- Align supplier performance with business outcomes and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Ensure compliance with governance and quality standards.
Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify and manage delivery risks, ensuring timely resolutions and transparent reporting. ⚠️
Requirements:
- Significant experience in IT&D, technology, or digital environments at a management level.
- Proven track record in delivering projects and programmes with budgets up to £20 million.
- At least 10 years of experience in project and programme delivery, preferably in the energy and utilities industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating complex relationships and competing priorities.
- Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Recognised project or programme management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
- Strong financial management and commercial experience.
