Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology and digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while aligning with strategic business objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and technical leadership to drive delivery excellence across multiple technology programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, development, testing, deployment, and service transition.
  • Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps, project plans, and delivery backlogs aligned with business priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Architecture, Product, Business Analysis, and Operations.
  • Drive Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Monitor programme progress, managing risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • Ensure delivery governance, compliance, security, and regulatory requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular reporting and executive-level updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and secure technology solutions.
  • Foster a high-performing delivery culture focused on continuous improvement and successful business outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering complex technology programmes or enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience as a Technology Delivery Manager, Technical Delivery Manager, Delivery Manager, or Technical Programme Manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Good understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery principles.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing project governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within Financial Services, Government, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and modern technology delivery practices.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.
  • Knowledge of User-Centred Design and Digital Product Delivery.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale technology transformation programmes.
