Delivery Manager
Location: Nottingham / Hybrid
Contract: Permanent - Full-time
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Are you the person who likes knowing where everything stands, what needs to happen next, and how to keep people moving in the same direction?
webdna is looking for an organised, pragmatic and people-focused Delivery Manager to help us deliver brilliant work for our clients. You'll be someone who can see the bigger picture while keeping an eye on the details, spot potential problems before they become bigger ones, and find a sensible way forward when plans change.
You might already be a Delivery Manager, Project Manager or Account Manager, or you may be coming from another fast-moving role where you've had to coordinate people, priorities, budgets and deadlines. What matters most is how you approach the work.
It's a varied role. One day you might be planning a new website project with a client, the next working with developers to unblock a tricky piece of delivery, reviewing budgets and timings, or helping a team work through competing priorities. You'll be the person who keeps things moving while making sure clients and the team know what's happening and what comes next.
You'll work closely with our delivery, development, design, and marketing teams, with the support of our Head of Delivery and other Delivery Managers around you.
About us
webdna is an award-winning creative, marketing, and digital development agency based in Nottingham. We create effective digital experiences and marketing campaigns for organisations across a wide range of sectors.
We are one of the world's leading Craft CMS agencies and have been recognised as European Craft CMS Agency of the Year, UK Craft CMS Agency of the Year, and one of Campaign's Best Places to Work in the UK. We're proud of the work we create, but just as proud of the friendly, supportive, and down-to-earth team behind it.
What you'll do
You'll take ownership of projects from the first conversation through to launch and review, making sure everyone understands what we're trying to achieve, what needs to happen next, and who is responsible for making it happen.
- Plan and manage projects, defining clear scopes, goals, milestones, timings, and responsibilities
- Keep projects moving, coordinating people, tasks and resources, and following up when something needs attention
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout a project
- Lead project meetings, making sure conversations result in clear decisions, actions, and next steps
- Keep a close eye on budgets, forecasts, timings, and risks, spotting potential problems early and finding practical ways to address them
- Maintain clear, useful project documentation, including plans, status updates, and risk registers
- Keep clients and the wider team informed, particularly when priorities, timings, or requirements change
- Work closely with developers, designers, marketers, and other Delivery Managers to remove blockers and help people do their best work
- Support QA and UAT to make sure what we deliver meets both client expectations and our own standards
- Know when you can make a decision and keep things moving, and when something needs input or sign-off from the Head of Delivery
- Build positive relationships with external suppliers and partners where they're involved in delivery
- Get to know our clients and their businesses, spotting opportunities where we could help them further
- Look for ways to improve how we plan, communicate, and deliver work, rather than simply following a process because that's how it's always been done

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You won't be doing all of this alone. You'll have the Head of Delivery and other Delivery Managers alongside you, as well as a wider team who are just as invested in getting things right.
What we're looking for
Experience in project or delivery management would be useful, but we're more interested in whether you have the skills and approach needed to do the job well.
- Organised: you can manage several projects and priorities without losing sight of the detail
- Pragmatic: you focus on what will work, make sensible decisions and find ways to keep things moving
- A clear communicator: you can talk comfortably with clients, developers, and senior stakeholders and adapt your approach for different people
- A problem solver: when something threatens a deadline or budget, you don't just flag the problem; you help work out what we can do about it
- Proactive: you take ownership, follow things through, and don't wait for someone else to tell you what needs to happen next
- Commercially aware: you understand the importance of budgets, resourcing, and making good decisions with the time and money available
- People-focused: you enjoy bringing people together and know that good delivery is as much about relationships and communication as it is about plans and processes
- Calm under pressure: you can deal with changing priorities and competing demands while keeping clients and colleagues informed
- Structured but adaptable: you value good planning and documentation, but you also know when the plan needs to change
