Delivery Manager
MaxIron is looking for a Delivery Manager who brings structure, momentum and accountability to complex work, while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Our work spans customer projects and services, internal software product development and wider business initiatives. We need someone who takes ownership, follows through on commitments and helps people deliver good work together.
About MaxIron
MaxIron specialises in enterprise asset management software, with a particular focus on IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite. We help organisations implement, improve and operate these systems, and develop our own software products to support their work.
Professionalism, dedication and care for customers and colleagues are central to how we want to work. We value people who take responsibility, communicate honestly and contribute to the success of the whole team.
The role
You will coordinate delivery across several workstreams, working with customers, consultants, developers and business stakeholders to turn priorities into clear plans and completed outcomes.
- Plan and manage customer delivery, internal product development and agreed business initiatives.
- Maintain clear priorities, milestones, responsibilities and dependencies across concurrent work.
- Track progress, scope, effort and delivery risks, making emerging problems visible early.
- Remove blockers, follow up on actions and escalate issues with practical options.
- Facilitate planning, reviews, retrospectives and other Scrum or Agile activities where appropriate.
- Work with product and technical leads to keep backlogs clear and delivery commitments realistic.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, decisions and changes clearly.
- Coordinate testing, acceptance, releases and handovers with the people responsible.
- Improve how teams work together, using enough process to support reliable delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
