G7 Delivery Manager

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for improving visibility, coordination, and planning of major technology change activity across a complex technology estate, including core platforms, associated services, and supporting environments. The role will establish and maintain a forward schedule of change across short, medium, and long-term horizons (3, 6, and 12 months), ensuring alignment of delivery plans, effective management of dependencies, and minimisation of contention across stakeholders and delivery teams. The role will also provide proactive horizon scanning for end-of-support and end-of-life technologies and services that may impact the technology estate, ensuring potential risks are identified early and appropriate mitigation is incorporated into delivery plans and roadmaps. This role will play a key part in reducing delivery risk, improving transparency of dependencies, and enabling effective prioritisation, coordination, and planning of technology change.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a consolidated 3, 6, and 12-month forward schedule of technology change across platforms, services, delivery teams, and supporting environments.
  • Engage with technology delivery leads, service owners, technical teams, and environment owners to capture planned activity, dependencies, risks, and constraints.
  • Identify and manage potential contention across technology and delivery activities, ensuring alignment and coordination to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Provide clear, regular reporting and updates to stakeholders on planned changes, risks, dependencies, conflicts, and schedule adjustments.
  • Maintain and manage a prioritised backlog of technology activity, ensuring visibility of demand and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Enable stakeholders to understand and manage dependencies, including facilitating escalation where prioritisation or sequencing requires reassessment.
  • Continuously review and improve planning and coordination processes to ensure the forward schedule remains accurate, transparent, and effective.
  • Conduct horizon scanning for end-of-support, end-of-life, and legacy technologies and services, ensuring risks are identified early and appropriate mitigation plans are incorporated into roadmaps.
  • Support technology management teams in ensuring live service and operational stability remain key priorities when planning and coordinating change.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across technical and delivery teams to support coordinated execution of change.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery governance, planning maturity, and overall visibility of technology demand and change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
