Delivery Manager / (Scrum Master)

Rate: up to £483 per day - Umbrella only

Duration: 6 months

Location: Telford 2 to 3 days onsite

Description

We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager/Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, and experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage and track project progress. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to guide and support our development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles, and coach the team to higher levels of maturity.
  • Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog and ensure it is well-groomed and prioritized.
  • Use JIRA and Confluence to track and report on project progress, and ensure transparency within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve team performance and productivity.

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and conflict resolution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
