Job Description
Role: Delivery Manager
Rate: £520 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid (3 days per month on site across Manchester, Leeds, or Newcastle)
Clearance: Basic BPSS Required
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and protect a motivated, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery process, maintaining iterative delivery plans while actively managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and team dynamics to keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Build, protect, and support a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Iterative Planning: Create and maintain robust, adaptable delivery plans aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks, blockers, and external dependencies.
- Commercial and Budget Oversight: Manage delivery budgets and work closely with third-party suppliers to ensure value and quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear, transparent communication across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills And Experience
- Proven background in Agile IT delivery and applying Lean/Agile techniques in complex environments.
- Strong track record of maintaining delivery momentum and removing team friction.
- Exceptional stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
- Hands-on experience with supplier management and vendor integration.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain BPSS Clearance.

Desirable Skills
- Scrum Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Practical experience with AWS cloud environments.
- Background in connectivity testing and management.
Pay Rate
£500.00 - £525.00 / day
