Delivery Manager – Gloucestershire – On Site– 6 Month Contract Inside IR35 37.5 hours per week – £800pd – DV Clearance
Our client is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead deliverables across a large infrastructure platforms team in Cheltenham. You'll be managing multiple workstreams across a mixed team of engineering, authority, and military personnel, so government environment experience is essential. DV clearance must be currently held to be considered for this role.

The Key Responsibilities of a Delivery Manager
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across a 20+ person infrastructure platforms team.
- Monitor project timelines, flag risks early, and keep teams on track.
- Maintain accurate status reports, dashboards, and milestone tracking.
- Support the Service Delivery Manager with stakeholder and leadership communications.
- Act as first point of contact for operational blockers and escalate issues promptly.
- Work with the SDM to allocate resources effectively across competing priorities.
- Ensure delivery activities align with agreed organisational objectives and processes.
- Engage directly with teams to resolve day-to-day queries and maintain delivery momentum.

Key Skills required for a Delivery Manager
- Proven experience in a Delivery Manager or similar project delivery role.
- Experience working within government or highly secure operational environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams and track complex dependencies.
- Confident stakeholder communication skills, including reporting to senior leadership.
- Proactive approach to risk identification, issue resolution, and escalation.
- Experience managing mixed teams including military, authority, and contractor personnel.
- Currently held DV clearance — this is a non-negotiable requirement.
Skills that would be beneficial but are not essential
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, or platforms delivery.
- Familiarity with government delivery frameworks or programme governance standards.
- Experience working alongside or embedded within military or intelligence community teams.

Income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary.
