SFIA 6 Delivery Manager | £520pd | Manchester
I’m looking for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead a core delivery team within a major public sector digital service.
This is a senior role for someone who can take ownership of complex delivery, lead multidisciplinary teams and confidently navigate technical dependencies, strategic priorities and senior stakeholders.
The team sits at the heart of a critical digital service, with multiple teams and services relying on its outputs so strong leadership, delivery discipline and the ability to keep complex work moving are essential.

What I’m looking for:
- SFIA Level 6 Delivery Management experience
- Extensive experience leading Agile delivery across complex programmes
- Proven ability to lead and coach multidisciplinary teams
- Strong strategic planning and roadmap development skills
- Experience managing complex technical delivery and digital services
- Strong understanding of workflows, data integration and service dependencies
- Confident managing RAID, risks, issues and dependencies across teams and suppliers
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within public sector, government or similarly complex environments
- Awareness of WCAG 2.2 AA and delivering accessible digital services
- Comfortable operating autonomously and influencing delivery at a strategic level
