About The Role
The Delivery Traffic Manager is part of the Customer Delivery - Audience Solutions team and reports to the Senior Director, Delivery. This role is responsible for managing the flow of work across the Delivery function, ensuring projects are effectively scheduled, resourced, and delivered on time across advertising, society partnerships, events, science content, and health and IME initiatives.
Acting as the central coordination point for work in progress, the Delivery Traffic Manager oversees team capacity, prioritises workloads, identifies delivery risks, and helps maintain efficient project execution. The role partners closely with Delivery, Marketing, Advertising Operations, project managers, and external suppliers to optimise workflows, improve resource planning, and support successful campaign delivery.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Manage the intake, prioritisation, scheduling, and allocation of work across multiple campaign and project types.
- Monitor team capacity and workload to ensure resources are effectively utilised and deadlines are met.
- Maintain visibility of project timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery status across the portfolio.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, delivery challenges, and resource constraints, escalating issues when required.
- Track campaign performance against agreed KPIs and support contingency planning when projects fall behind expectations.
- Develop and continuously improve traffic management processes, reporting, forecasting, and resource-planning practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and operational excellence.
- Provide leadership with clear insights into team capacity, project priorities, and delivery risks.

What We Look For
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a Traffic Manager, Resource Manager, Project Coordinator, or Workflow Management role.
- Proven ability to manage workloads, resources, and competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and driving issues through to resolution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
- Experience using project, traffic, or resource-management platforms such as Asana, Workfront, Monday.com, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within an agency, publishing, media, or marketing services environment.
- Knowledge of advertising operations, events, society partnerships, scientific content, or medical education delivery.
- Experience designing or improving traffic management, intake, resource planning, or workflow processes.
- Understanding of campaign performance metrics and operational contingency planning.
- Experience supporting teams through process improvement and workflow optimisation initiatives.

The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles in the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, or Spain. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
