GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Delivery Solution Architect to join our Grid Software team based in the United Kingdom.

Let’s Talk About The Role

The Delivery Solution Architect acts as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, guiding the design, integration, and implementation of advanced energy management solutions.

You serve as a bridge between complex client business requirements and innovative technical execution. By collaborating with internal technical teams and external stakeholders, you ensure that our software solutions are not only implemented successfully but also empower our clients to manage the complexities of modern, decentralized energy grids.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Designing and implementing GE GridOS DERMS solutions to meet unique client needs.
  • Collaborating with a strong team of Technical Leads and Solution Specialists to provide input on solution architecture and expand our solution consulting and delivery practice.
  • Supporting the GEV DevOps team to deploy GE GridOS DERMS solutions to client environments to support project use cases and DER planning scenarios.
  • Engaging with our utility clients to understand the impacts of distributed energy resources (DERs) on the distribution system and translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements and robust system designs.
  • Optimizing deployment processes through automation and scripting, ensuring seamless integration of software into client environments.
  • Leading client-specific testing, validation, and training, ensuring all stakeholders feel confident and capable using our technology.
  • Creating business cases and new product requirements by understanding client business processes and policies.
  • Driving project success by managing technical risks, analyzing performance data, and providing expertise to support pre-sales and expansion efforts.

Skills For Success

You are a technical expert with a passion for emerging energy trends, with:

  • The ability to develop and deploy enterprise-grade software and DB connector experience.
  • An understanding of modern electricity industry operations, specifically Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), distribution planning, and SCADA systems.
  • An expertise in Requirements Management, turning business needs into precise design specifications and test cases.
  • The ability to architect complex systems and strong IT Enterprise Architecture skills including ITNW (IT Network), Data Flow, and Complex SW Application deployments.
  • A keen interest in creative problem-solving and rapidly adopting new technologies to solve real-world energy challenges.

A formal education in Engineering or a similar program with a focus on power systems is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
