Equity Derivatives Sales
Location: London
Seniority: VP - Director
Overview
Our client is looking to expand its Equity Derivatives franchise through the addition of an experienced Sales professional at VP to Director level. This is a front-office, revenue-generating role focused on delivering equity derivative solutions to a sophisticated institutional client base.
The successful candidate will work closely with trading, structuring, and research teams to provide clients with market insights and tailored product solutions across the equity derivatives spectrum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, hedge funds, and asset managers
- Generate revenue through the marketing and execution of equity derivative products
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships
- Partner with trading and structuring teams to deliver tailored investment and hedging solutions
- Provide clients with market color, trade ideas, and strategic recommendations
- Drive cross-selling opportunities across the broader equities platform
- Maintain a strong understanding of market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity
- Contribute to the continued growth of the bank's equity derivatives franchise

Requirements
- 5-15 years of experience within Equity Derivatives Sales
- Strong understanding of equity derivatives, Delta One, equity swaps, options, and structured solutions
- Established institutional client relationships with a proven ability to generate revenues
- Experience covering hedge funds, asset managers, pensions, or other institutional investors
- Strong commercial mindset and business development capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced front-office environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
Desirable
- Existing European client coverage experience
- Strong understanding of equity financing and Delta One products
- Demonstrable track record of developing new business opportunities
- Experience working within a leading investment bank or established broker-dealer
