Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Account Support
- Own daily volume forecasts with support from NAC, review weekly but also building into a long term 18 month rolling forecast.
- Improve forecast accuracy YOY by customer and category – targets to be agreed with NAC and customer.
- Monitor weekly sales and work with NAC to identify any changes in demand.
- Work closely with the NAC & procurement team to align on season & SKU code change overs taking flushes, shortages and promotional activity into account to ensure forecast and systems are up to date.
- Analysis to include the generation of specific retail analysis, pricing, margin, wastage, ranging, promotion analysis which recommendations for performance improvement.
- Support the NAC on all customer queries and always maintaining excellent customer service.
- Identify high wasting SKU’s in store sales data and liaise internally and with customer.
- Supporting the account manager for customer visits and preparation of presentations.
- Review and assist in creating seasonal price proposals.
- Complete internal commercial forms and costings.
- Support NAC in identifying new customer opportunities.

Market Awareness
- Gain an understanding of category and market performance, and supports internal NWT with data / insight for monthly commercial performance report.
- Activation / Media Marketing tracker invoice management.
- Tracks key market activity across category summarising (price / promos) impact to BV / retailer, collaborating with the Category & Insight Manager.
New Product Development
- Work with internal teams to take SKUs through the new product development process.
- Complete new line forms for the customer.
- Attend weekly product development meetings.
Cross Functional Working
- Working with the commercial & procurement team on accurate customer forecasting and pricing plans.
- Liaise with site teams to understand material quality to minimise wastage.
- Work with the Category & Insights Manager to optimise existing performance through range, price, trade plan and drive new business opportunities.
- Proactive and engaged member of the Commercial Customer family.
- Working with the quality team on customer complaints, benchmarking activities.
- Drive to grow commercial knowledge and skills as part of the journey to Commercial Manager.

- Previous produce experience would be desirable but not essential.
