Job Opportunity: Demand Generation Lead, Growth

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Demand Generation Lead, Growth based in United Kingdom.

This is a high-impact opportunity to build and lead the demand generation function for a fast-growing B2B SaaS business.

  • You’ll own how prospective customers discover and experience the product across web, search, and paid media.
  • The role focuses particularly on building awareness and qualified pipeline within larger and enterprise organizations.
  • As the first dedicated demand generation hire, you’ll define the strategy, establish the operating model, and execute the programs that drive growth.
  • You’ll work closely with design, sales, and event marketing while shaping creative, campaigns, measurement, and channel investment.
  • The environment is highly autonomous, brand-conscious, remote-first, and focused on quality, efficiency, and fast execution.
  • You’ll also be expected to use AI and automation extensively to increase impact and operate more efficiently.

Accountabilities

  • Own the overall demand generation strategy, with a particular focus on increasing awareness and pipeline among larger and enterprise customers.
  • Lead paid media end to end, including channel strategy, budget allocation, campaign execution, creative direction, and optimization.
  • Develop account-based marketing campaigns for enterprise accounts in close collaboration with sales and event marketing teams.
  • Own the web experience and collaborate with internal design partners on landing pages, campaigns, and advertising creative.
  • Lead search strategy across traditional search and emerging AI-driven discovery experiences, ensuring prospective customers can find the product through both channels.
  • Establish clear measurement frameworks and success metrics for demand generation activities, balancing quantitative performance data with sound commercial judgment.
  • Build and scale the demand generation function as the first dedicated specialist, introducing the tools, processes, and practices needed to support sustainable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and emerging technologies to accelerate execution and increase the team's effectiveness.
  • Manage marketing investment carefully, knowing when to optimize spending and when strategic opportunities justify additional investment.
  • Maintain a strong focus on brand quality and audience perception, prioritizing sustainable, high-quality demand creation over tactics that may compromise the customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth or demand generation, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience across web marketing, paid media, account-based marketing, and pipeline generation for enterprise sales organizations.
  • Strong creative and design instincts, with the ability to direct marketing creative and recognize when messaging or execution does not meet a high quality bar.
  • A strong understanding of product and engineering audiences, with the ability to communicate naturally in their language and understand their needs.
  • Strong commercial judgment and financial discipline, including the ability to manage budgets effectively and make thoughtful investment decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and measurement skills, with the ability to build reporting, evaluate pipeline economics, and use data to guide decisions without relying exclusively on dashboards or attribution models.
  • Deep understanding of attribution and demand generation measurement, combined with the judgment to recognize the limitations of attribution systems.
  • Advanced familiarity with AI tools and automation, with a strong preference for using technology to streamline work and increase individual and team productivity.
  • High ownership, autonomy, and execution ability, with the confidence to build a function from the ground up in a small, high-impact marketing environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across marketing, sales, design, and other functions in a remote-first, asynchronous environment.
