Demand Generation Manager

London / Hybrid – minimum two days a week in the office

Up to £50,000

Are you an experienced demand generation marketer who knows how to turn campaigns into pipeline?

My client is looking for a commercially minded Demand Generation Manager to take ownership of growth and demand generation activity and play a key role in driving measurable pipeline and revenue.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong track record in demand generation, growth marketing or B2B campaign management who wants genuine ownership of campaigns and the opportunity to see a direct connection between marketing activity and commercial results.

You’ll join an established marketing team and work closely with Sales, Product, Innovation and Delivery to develop multi-channel campaigns, engage target audiences and use data to continually improve performance.

What will you be doing?

You’ll take the lead on planning, delivering and optimising demand generation activity with a clear focus on creating qualified pipeline.

Day to day you might be:

  • Owning growth and demand generation activity with accountability for pipeline contribution
  • Planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns across email, digital, social and content
  • Developing and managing ABM programmes for key target accounts
  • Working closely with Sales to align messaging, targeting and outreach
  • Managing campaigns in HubSpot including workflows, landing pages, email journeys, lead nurturing and reporting
  • Supporting paid media activity across SEM and paid social
  • Contributing to campaigns, events, content, thought leadership, SEO, webinars and organic social
  • Supporting positioning and proposition development across the business and its products
  • Tracking campaign and pipeline performance and using data to make recommendations
  • Contributing to marketing planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor activity and developments across relevant sectors
  • Using marketing technology including HubSpot, LinkedIn and AI-assisted marketing and design tools

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What are we looking for?

This is not an entry point into demand generation. My client needs someone who can demonstrate genuine hands-on experience and is ready to take ownership.

You’ll need:

  • At least three years’ experience in growth marketing, demand generation or B2B campaign management
  • Experience within data services, technology, utilities or telecoms
  • A proven track record of delivering campaigns end-to-end with clear evidence of contributing to pipeline and revenue
  • Experience running or contributing to ABM programmes
  • Practical experience with HubSpot or an equivalent CRM and marketing automation platform
  • A working understanding of paid media and SEM
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using campaign data to inform decisions

Experience with ABM or sales enablement platforms, AI-assisted marketing tools, external agencies or event and webinar planning would be beneficial. A marketing qualification such as a degree or CIM qualification is desirable but not essential.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to join a business where marketing has a clear commercial purpose. You’ll have ownership of demand generation rather than simply executing campaigns and will be encouraged to understand the numbers behind your activity, challenge what isn’t working and identify opportunities to improve performance.

If you’re a commercially driven demand generation marketer looking for a role where you can own campaigns, influence strategy and make a measurable impact on growth, this could be a great next step.
